PLAYGROUP

A new venture for parents and carers with babies and pre-school children is running on Friday mornings from 10am till 11.30am. The playgroup will alternate between Warmington and Shotteswell Village Halls. Tomorrow's session is at Shotteswell. Contact Georgina Bullworthy on 01295 690893 for details.

HERITAGE GROUP

The heritage group have a new web site full of interesting information.

QUIZ NIGHT

The village hall committee is arranging a quiz night with chilli supper on Friday 3rd February.

GARDENING CLUB

At last week's meeting Paul Ridley took members on a colourful tour through all the seasons of the year with his well-illustrated talk on 'Planting for seasonal interest'.

His enthusiastic suggestions provided members with many ideas for unusual combinations of colour in flower and foliage.

JUBILEE

Inter Village games are being organised between the six villages in the Edgehill Benefice.

There are provisional ideas to hold the golf pitch and putt on the Green on 30th June.

On Thursday 5th June villagers and their invited guests will be celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee with picnics and live music.
